A Christmas Gift from the Children’s Rosary

Dear Friends,

Today a Mass was celebrated for all the members of the Children’s Rosary and all who help the Children’s Rosary. This is something we do on the 25th of every month. There is a priest who celebrates this mass. He is a LaSallete Missionary. When we began this practice of having monthly Masses celebrated, Fr. Jeff Larche was in upstate New York, USA. Last evening, I sent an email to confirm our Christmas Mass for the Children’s Rosary and inquired the time the Mass would be offered. He quickly replied it would be at 10:00 AM. Usually I do not ask the location, but this time I had the thought to inquire after the location of the Mass in the upcoming post. Thus I wrote once again. In this email I asked about the location. I was stunned to see his response: La Salette Missionaries, Chapel of Our Lady of LaSalette Hartford, Connecticut. The reason for my surprise is that I live only 4 miles from this Chapel although I had never been there. Knowing that the Mass would be so close and offered for the members of the Children’s Rosary and all who help the Children’s Rosary, I felt sure we should attend. Fr. Larche kindly invited us to join the LaSalette missionaries. Most of those at this chapel are retired. We include the picture which was taken after Mass from the chapel. Fr. Larche is shown holding the Children’s Rosary book. In speaking to Fr. Larche, we found out he had been transferred in 2021 to Hartford although he was still receiving our postal mail from his prior assignment. We both marveled at the providence of our meeting on Christmas. Indeed it seems that God always has special gifts prepared for us. Working together in the Vineyard of Our Lord, there are special surprises.
